The Areas of the  Rat's Neocortex are divided according to Functions:

         1. Visual Cortex
         2. Auditory Cortex
         3. Somatosensory Cortex
         4. Motor Cortex
              
OR-- Location

         5. Frontal, Parietal, Temporal or Occipital  Cortex.
